Fuel tank won't fill up entirely...
For the past 6 months or so, whenever i'm on E and go to a gas station to fill up, the pump always automatically stops at about 3/4ths full. Anyone experience or know what's up with this? Thx

Yes AAMOF, I just took it slow and got another $46758499394 dollars in it. No, really just yesterday I noticed it clicked off at 9GL and the low fuel light came on just a mile or so before I filled. I was able to get another 3-1/2 GL in it before I felt it was full. Bad nozzel at the pump? I try my normal filling station.

1. Were you able to get any more fuel in the tank after it initially shut off? (Pump Nozzel problem, try another filling station. It may be technique as well. These vapor recovery nozzels are a PITA somtimes.)
2. Did the fuel gage show full? I see you state that it is 3/4 full, is that based on the gage or your experience that it should take 12 gallons or so? (If so, it could be a calibration issue as wross996tt suggests)
3. Does the fuel burp back the whole time you are filling?
(There is one other thing that comes to mind, there is a fuse that services both the fuel vent valve and the mobile radio. Check your fuses and see if one is blown. There is a connector in the center dash/console are directly below the radio that may be laying loose and if you hit a bump just right it can short to ground and take out the fuse. I asked on time about the connector when I first got my car as to what it was and it was suggested to put a wrap of electrical tape around the end to prevent this from happening.)

As I understand you need disconect battery with at least 10gallons for about 5 minutes, I have this problem too and it works for me.

2. This is based on the fuel gauge and the amount of miles it says I have until empty also confirms that it didn't fill up all the way.
3. I'm in NJ and it's illegal here to pump your own gas so I don't know first hand what's happening. I just know that at every gas station that I go to, the pump automatically stops before filling all the way up. I always just figured that it was like a sensor in the porsche telling the pump that it's full when it's really not. Does that make sense?

First check and make sure that E6 fuse is OK.
Check to see if there are any kinked hoses under the hood around the tank.
I don't know if the nozzels in NJ differ from CA. Try turning the nozzel up instead of down. Both my '72 911 and my '91 964 filled better that way. Have the attendant hold the nozzel with the hose curving upward. Tell him it is a special test for the dealer...
See what ya find and reply your results please...

Sounds like you are limited to how much your NJ attendant will do for you. I have found that by only putting the nozzle in a minimal distance and slowing down the flow rate, especially when you are almost full, you will get a full tank.
