Looking for schematic of front left radiator

Is there some sort of plastic tank that is affixed to the front left radiator that is joined by a common gasket?

I have an intermittent leak and had the radiator pressure tested and found it perfect. Like an idiot, I was not there when the guys tok it apart and they are NOT Pcar guys. Yeah I know but I am in Hickory, NC....

Anyway, I was told about the plastic "tank" and gasket but cannot find a schematic anywhere, Rennlist included.

Is there a gasket? Is there a plastic tank of some sort? Can either or both be replaced without replacing the radiator?

I am going to do it myself this time and am trying to have the possible culprits identified and new ones in my hands before the bumper comes off. Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.

I have a slight coolant smell from the right front radiator after a hard drive. Also the bottom of right radiator was a bit damp when I took my bumper cover off last fall for a cleaning. Car just turned 20k miles. Is it shot? Can it be repaired or is a new radiator in order? If I need a new one, recommendations where to purchase. TIA

Radiator front left or right

You have a couple of options for replacement Behr left side is $509.00 right side is $493.00 from Pelican auto parts or you can get it from Vortex in Miami.
The main importer is and supplier inter american motor corporation, 1873 sw 3rd st, pompano beach florida. they are the cheapest and next day delivery.
I had pulled off bumper had leak on right and small one on left replaced both to be safe. looking about $800.00 for both make sure it is the correct radiator for the 996 turbo its different for the C2. Takes about 3 hours max to do both just cost me $240.00 in labor. Hope that helps dont try and repair not worth it you will end up doing job twice.
