I live in Irvine, if you want me to check out a potential car for you I can do that.. just let me know.

ninenine, just curious what kind of experience youve had with autohaus. Ive walked in there a few times but that's all I know.

I bought mine from MCD over 2 years ago. Got a great car, and a great deal.

As far as Autohaus West, They told me I could get a ppi AFTER I bought a car from them

They said they check out the cars and that should be good enough.

I called a very popular Porsche shop in the area that specializes in ppi work. They told me I definitely want a ppi with those guys.

Well I am still talking w/ Motorcars Direct. But for now they seem unwilling to budge off of their asking price. I feel that they are a little (not much, but a little) overpriced. I understand that I am buying from a retailer rather than an individual. However I still feel they are a bit high in price. They are willing, however to take the car anywhere I want for a PPI.
So the next thing I need to find a good independent in Irvine or close surrounding area to have it taken there. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

hegesheimer for a ppi. go on their website.

theyre close by

If you found the car you want and it gets a clean ppi, grab it even if it's slightly higher than you want to spend. You can get good deals all day long on crappy cars.
