Post pics of 996TT BLACK with Silver Accent...

Hey !

My 996TT basalt black is a little to "stealth" for me. I would really like to see pics of fellow members that has done things to bring the lines out of the car a little more. As an example, I wish to see what you have done to make the rear intercooler vent a little more visible, as well as fron grills or anything revelant.... Maybe some of you have changed the bumpers or done something we have not seen yet...

Not to say that I don't like black, but I saw so many white/yellow car and the details are so nice to see... wich I can do the same with black...

Cheers
Bo

I do really like some of the white TTs with the black accents. I wonder if there is something like that you could do with Basalt Black.

I really like the color, but it doesn't even really seem black to me. It seems more of a dark grey.

I think it it much closer to black that dark grey. Even under the sun light, Imo, it's considered black. are you driving a "stealth" basalt black as well ?

Yeah, I just bought it a month ago. I really love the car, and you are right, out in the sun it looks much closer to black. Inside it seems to be more grey though. Maybe it is the fluorescent lights.

Smoke Silver Wing and Side Vents along with Silver Mesh Inserts in Front Bumper and Side Vents.

Not sure about the Mesh Inserts but the Silver accents looked very good in person. I'll try and dig up some better pics.

Ref: The Evo650 on youtube:
I'm thinking those intercooler screens are restricting air flow. Same for the ones on the radiator inlets.
