What are my exhaust tip options?

Currently have the standard Porsche exhaust on my TT with the X50 tips, and I don't really like them.

Is there a set of bolt on quad tips, or anything else a bit different?

Will be changing to a sport exhaust in a month or so, prob a Milltek, so ideally would like to get them fitted at the same time.

Pics and suggestions greatly received

I have the Remus tips pictured below. Definitely not somthing you see all the time, and pretty cheap too. I had a set of Gemballa dual Stainless tips previously that had a turn up like a Ferrari has, but they were kinda small and weak looking compared to these.

Ooh yeah, I'm liking those - where didja get them?

Pretty close to the 9ff exhaust...

...which are my favourite, but they don't sell the tips separately.

On that Ebay listing, it says the tips do not fit the original 996tt exhaust...

"This Exhaust End-pipes will not fit for 996 Turbo with original Exhaust ."

Shame about those Remus tips on eBay, they would have been spot on.

Schnell ones are cool, but too similar to my present ones, and would be lost on my black car.

Custom ones are nice looking too.

Any more suggestions?

I have TechArt replicas for sale (cheap too). Only thing is they were welded on my Fabspeed outlet pipes when I bought the exhaust so they'd have to be welded onto your set up by a muffler shop.

If you like 'em then you should consider buying them and having a local exhaust guy do what it takes to mount 'em. They're certainly cheap enough to experiment with when compared with other, more expensive, tips. I'd guess that any local muffler shop could fit them to your existing exhaust with little effort for under $100.

FWIW, the Remus tips fill the bumper opening better than the the 9ff tips shown in that picture. I think the Remus pipes are both slightly larger, the inside pipe on the Remus tips is larger for sure.

Print a picture of them out from that ebay auction, then take your car and the picture to a local shop and let them decide if they think it possible.

Look up AAA exhaust's web site for exhaust tips. The slvr C4S with oversized tips is my old Porsche. They make various tips to fit exhausts. Currently I have a full Remus exhaust with their tips which I like. Good luck. www.aaaexhaust.com

Don't really want to cut and weld a £1500 exhaust, hence my desire for bolt ons. Not looking good for me so far

Actually Techart tips are reversed. The full circle is the larger inner one whereas the x54's have a full small outer circle.

FWIW - the techart tips I have available are welded to fabspeed outlet pipes. A muffler shop would cut up and adapt the fabspeed pipes to your outlets.

Oh yeah - oops

Thanks for that, but still would prefer 4 x separate pipes
