I'm hoping for another trip out in Oct or Nov. Going to check the TWS schedule for PCA and Driver's Edge events. Motorsports club is too much of a free-for-all.

Alot of racers will keep the pedal to the floor until turn #2, which is a real sphincter clincher of a ride. On the back straight I am hitting 130mph, which is 25 mph faster than my 951 track car. Yours would be sickeningly fast out there!
Small tracks are a real test of a Turbo drivers skill. You cant rely on the straights to bail you out of being slow in the corners, and the TT, does not corner all that well. You also have to keep your brakes in mind, Turbo's heat brakes quickly on small tracks. But is is very stable, and you can get on the power soon, so that makes up for some of the cornering issues (mostly weight and balance related). This is where it would probably be easier to drive a GT3.

But all the more rewarding when you can be faster there too.

With all you road course guys here...I have a set of R compound slicks that are virtually brand new for 1/2 price. Surely someone here would enjoy burning these down to the cords and saving money at the same time...

It's great to see all the discussions regarding track events. I think we need more of this on the board to go along with all the big hp drag posts.

Not to say I don't like the big hp stuff I do!

Reality is that it is MUCH easier to drive big HP at a 1/4 mile than it is at a road course. The more HP you have, the bigger the mistakes get on braking, corner entry and corner exit!

I agree, I'd like lots of road racing talk here.

Yeah we have Road Atlanta, but don't forget the inside track of Atlanta motor Speedway. And we also have Atlanta motorsport park too
