Engine Coolant

What kind of engine coolant do you guys use in your car? Is it something I can buy at an autoparts store or Walmart? Also, what temperature does your car normally run at?

My car usually runs just over the 180 mark. Today when I got to work and was letting the car idle for a minute to cool down the turbos the "check coolant level" warning light came on.

You can top it off with distilled water, and also look at RedLine's WaterWetter
product, that helps coolant do it's job.

My car generally runs under that 180 mark no matter how hot. I would see if there is a small leak somewhere, and the extra insurance of a coolant flush cant hurt...

I just bought the car a month ago, and I think it needs a 30k service. I will make sure they flush the coolant when they do the service as well.

Mine runs just a tick over 180 as well. It has been in the high 80's and low 90's here lately though.

Ok, I topped it off with distilled water and it took nearly 3/4 of a gallon. I scheduled the 30k service at my local dealer too.
