I'm just happy you are not a **** star. I don't think I could handle what your avatar would have looked like if that was the case.

Dirty Mac & unvmym3, I know it's a little off topic, but whilst we are on the subject, I design and print for a large Bodybuilding Products company here in Scotland "Extreme Nutrition". It was run by partners Chris Sneddon and Douglas Black, Chris was a Pro on the circuit (think IFBB) but sadly passed away back in 2001 whilst in competition. They were great guys, lets say I looked after them and they looked after me, lol

Former nationally qualified bodybuilder here....most dangerous sport on the planet...definately more dangerous than cage fighting (trained w/ those guys after my BB career).
Stevo, what is "Scottish Extreme Nutrition"....Haggis w/ protein powder? What the frick is up w/ your peoples food...I mean seriously, it all seems to be based on a dare.

Yep, it is a 24/7 job. Lifting the 5 days a week is easy, but every meal is thought out and has to be clean, all the supplements, vitamins....everything has a time that it needs to be entered in the body and the right combos. The process is painfully slow and you make the commitment and know in time you will get there. It is the biggest form of delayed gratification.
I do a lot of things in addition which are some what counter productive such as the martial arts, but the lifting as a whole is not hard. The worst part is on the days you don't want to pick up a weight you do it any way until there is no more ATP left and you hurt like hell. It is the dedication and the details that make it difficult.
