Does a 996 GT2 front lip fit on a 996TT front end? Any pics?
TIA

entirely different bumper and I don't think it will fit. GT2 front is HOT though.

Dragging this thread back up from the dead...

I'm installing a GT2 front bumper on my 996TT and am wondering if the C4S lip will mount to it? I'm looking for the least low lip to put on (mainly to protect the bumper).

I've searched and found mixed opinions. My guess is that it wouldn't fit as the GT2 bumper appears wider and slightly differently shaped (bottom, flared out edges).

Can anyone confirm my suspicions? Is my best bet the factory GT2 lower lip? Anyone ever shaved this down so it's less likely to drag/snap/get torn up?

My car is kinda low so I need every 1/4 inch!

correct, the bottom of the gt2 and the bottom of the standard 996 bumpers are entirely different. gt2 is more squared off and the 996 is more wedged from the center line.
