That's actually about right. I think everyone is so used to hearing about modded TT's on here that they forget how little (so to speak) HP that these cars have stock.

420 crank HP stock
less 84hp (20% driveline)
336 AWD HP

Add 20 or 30 back on for his X50 and there you go.... Give or take of course.

I've dyno'd my car at a lot of different places. Take the numbers with a grain of salt. They're more for ego than anything. The thing to focus on is the delta after mods. I've done three mods and dyno'd after all three to make sure the performance was there as promised by the manufacturer.

The only thing that matters is that it's accurate as far as reading the differences between before and after. What were his before numbers?
I'm not sure in regards to his numbers before, I'll make sure I ask him to see if he ever dynoed bone stock, in regards to my numbers to be honest with you..I'm very aware some cars are faster than others bone stock, I used to own a 02 996TT and it definately didn't move like this 03 bone stock, I also remember when I used to own 2 Corvette C5's back in 99 identical cars, and one definately outrun the other ( they were both automatic) and took both to the track with identical mileage and one ran .2 tenths faster and 3mph faster in the 1/4. So I guess, I'll wait til I do the mods which it will be soon, I'm waiting to receive the goods then go and dyno again.

What are your thoughts on the dyno operator? Is it a good shop.

I have a buddy here in Tampa who has a protomotive TT making a ton of hp. He's never dyno'd it because he didn't want to unhook the front diff and neither of us were aware of an AWD dyno in the area. Does this shop seem pretty squared up? I know he'd like to see what it's making these days.

I can definately vouch for this shop, their AWD dyno is great and they definately know their stuff, not to mention their 1100HP AWD EVO 8 they have there as one of their shop cars. Perhaps if you talk to your buddy I can meet up with you guys at that shop so he can see where's he at in regards numbers go.
