Hi, time flies. I think I sold that thing over a year ago. Mods included stereo, gauge cluster, titanium exhaust, intake.

That was shot during the Chicago AIr Show last year.

how come when someone compares an evo or sti to a 996, everybody jumps all over it and calls them ricer junk, but now that an admin gets one, he's getting props for the car and the mods? we're a fickle bunch.

just for the record, i love the car. good choice shank. i don't know what it is, but i always drool over those heavily modded sti's and evos. must be the teenager in me or i've seen fast n furious too many times

 

I Personally like both of them also. Their nothing nothing compared to a TT, but I'm still a teenager, it's the teenager in me also.

 

Shank, it looks sweet! is that HKS carbon/Ti exaust?.and if so how does it sound...i was considering it for my wrx. and for those of you looking to buy one, if u live in L.A.-my dad and i negotiated the price down to 500 under invoice on an 05 sti at subaru of Thousand Oaks. thats like 2500 undre stiker!

One of my engineers (in his 20's) has an EVO. Stiff and lots of fun. I'd sure like to build an STI for some offroad racing. That would be my speed. I'm probably too old to have one as a second car. I'm 38 so I'll have to stick to sticking PES superchargers on my Audis.
