Toyo T1R Tires for 996TT????

guys
i put these tires on my car the first week i got the car
and if you remember, i was estatic about them
i WILL NOT be buying these again
michelin ps2's are MUCH more responsive as far as steering imput
in terms of grip.. theyre about the same as PS2's
however, the michelins stop better, the toyo's are MUCH better in the rain, and you can rotate the tires side to side
however, with the type of driving i do, i need something that responds better.. im guessing its because of the sidewalls ?

Guys, I've been reading this post and the general consensus indicates that Toyo tyres are great - but can you recommend any better tyres that perhaps would cost more but give tons of grip?
I have PZero's in my car but when I took it to the drag strip a few days ago, all wheels were breaking loose on 1st and 2nd. On the street I'm having trouble even on third - traction light flashing wildly as its trying to keep me going on a corner or in a straight.
So I need stickier tyres, but would prefer to get some feedback before I give my precious dollars away..
