A few questions:
What hp and tq increases I can expect on a stock X50 with this initial flash? I am in Houston running 93 Octane.
Are there different file options depending upon where I want to see improvements, ie quicker spool up and lower end acceleration vs top end, etc.?
I also see in your ad, there is no need for multiple files whether using pump or race gas...how does this work??
What is your policy on a future flash? (Example: If I flash it now with stock K24's I see the discounted price...lets say 6 months from now I upgrade to K24/18g's and need an updated file to go along with it, what would I need to pay for the re-flash at that time?

Great questions. I have MANY customers in Houston running the Softronic flash. The stock X50 you should see a good gain in both HP and TQ. The limited factor on the X50 car is the stock exhaust and the diverter valves. Right now you run about .8 or .9bar. With the flash, you should see about 1.1bar when you have an aftermarket exhaust and new DV's. If you were to do a before and after like this, you would see a gain of around 40HP and 50ft/lbs of torque. See more info here - http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/s...0-p-45747.html

Because the car is tuned off the stock knock and O2 sensors, each individual table is mapped to adjust and change to different octane. Others do a GLOBAL change to the ECU parameters that will not work the same which require a different map. If you decide to add the K24/18G later, what is nice about Softronic is again you flash with your OBDII cable, they have a PROVEN and successful map, and it only costs you $400 for the update.

- Do I get to save both old and new profile? I'd like to know that I can switch back and forth whenever I want...
- Is Softronic offering several profiles of different degree of aggressiveness? I've seen some other companies do it, and supposedly you can choose between more power and better drivability.
- Cable included in $1200? Could you ship to Washington? I'll be at a conference there soon, and I don't want to deal with brokerage etc (I'm from Canada)
- Upgrade is $400 if I change setup (new exhaust etc), right?
- And finally, I usually use 94 gas available in Canada, if I run update while using 94, and system adjusts to it, what will happen when I use 91? Is this safe?

With Softronic you keep your Original File as well as the new tuned file. You can flash back and forth if need be. Softronic gives you 1 tuned map and it is the best one the first time. It will adjust to different octanes, exhaust, etc. No need for map switching. It is safe, reliable, and gains quite good power. If you order TODAY ONLY, the cable is included in the price. The $400 change is only if you go to bigger turbos, fuel injectors, cams. Basic bolt ons do not require a reflash. 94 octane is no problem as we have a map which is 93 octane.
