They are shipping from Brockway to us tomorrow, so we should have them in house the first part of next week. We will immediately re-ship to the individuals that ordered under the group buy.

Update - The Brockway R1000's are on the way and should arrive here either Monday or Tuesday. Group buy customers should start seeing them arriving late next week (east coast) and the first of the following week (west coast).

Do you need a special kit if I want to replace the CD holder in our car is it simple swap?

As for the installation, I believe you just remove the CD holder and the Brockway slips right in the DIN cavity.

 

Got mine yesterday and installed it. In the lower console at least, it was not really a direct drop in. While it will snap right in, it sits about 7/16" too deep as delivered. In other words, it's nowhere near flush with the other parts of the console. I was able to make some additional brackets to make it fit properly, but not without some fabrication.

 

Do you know if we did something wrong? mine sits the same exact way... Does brockway know about this? hopefully they will do something...

 

Mine is the same way. That is how they are...Brockway knows they require a little adjustment and they do with most other makes, as well.

I used adhesive backed velcro on both the Brockway and the cavity and slid the brockway in until it set at the desired point. The velcro will hold it in place. Fairly simple to do.
