911 996 overheating problem

911 996 overheating problem

Hi all

i have a problem with my 996 98r reg . I left it ticking over for about 25 minutes and it started to overheat . I took it for a drive and it went into the red , i have cleaned the rads and jetted clear water through . The heater pipes in and out from the rads are getting hot and the fan comes on . I can no see water in the oil or oil in the water . So what can i be . Please help . Many thanks terry

The car run 100% before this happen and runs fine now , just overheats

Sounds like the water pump is gone.
