The socket on my Pops 01' 996 c2 driver side brake light went bad. He switched the bulbs and found both worked on the passenger side,thus making him think the socket that the bulb connects to went bad.......anyone had this issue? Can the sockets be ordered apart from a whole assembly?

 

First, clean it with electrical spraying agent. If that doesn't work, try WD-40. GL!
