Supercharger surprises another victim :)
While cruising through Mexico today, came across what appeared to be a brand new Saleen S281. Not sure if it was the "extreme" edition, but I don't think so. As luck would have it, we stumbled on to a nice stretch of clear highway near Tijuana.
I don't know if his was modded or not; but it was loud as hell and his blower was screaming. From second gear until 4th, it was very very close, with a back and forth thing going on as we shifted. From a roll, the gearing seems to be better in the pcar. However, as my car got a chance to stretch it's legs a bit in 4th and sustain maximum boost for more than a few seconds, I finally started to consistently pull away and we both let off. Good times
This EVO kit never ceases to amaze me. Considering the huge advantage the Saleen had (displacement, torque, twin screw blower, and whatever else he had done to it), I still managed to eek out a "W" when given enough room. I even smacked down a Lightning last week that was supposedly making well over 400 to the wheels. It's weird how the car doesn't feel fast because the boost is so transparent, but it clearly is. Now I need to find a stock 7T so I can add that to my kill list.
And don't forget that I have a porky pig convertible with 19" wheels, subwoofers, and a trunk full of audio equipment. This kit would be nuts in a bone stock 7S coupe with some light weight 18's.

Damn you!!!! My recently acquired EVO supercharger kit is still sitting in the garage waiting for some rain so I can install it without missing any driving time... now I just want to put it in TODAY!
Good to hear, can't wait to experience it for myself.

go to evoms.com for current pricing. mine was around $11K plus install. you're looking at around 12.5 to 13K total. which sounds like a lot. and it is. however, when you do the math and add up what a complete exhaust, intake, plenum, and ECU cost; it's actually quite a bargain for the amount of HP you get. you're talking almost $8K plus install for all of the NA mods. for another $5K you can turn the car into a beast

Good job dog, I finally know what you mean on power I took mine down the street the other day to shake out kinks before taking it for fine tune and could not help stepping on it and all I have to say is after 4500 rpm in second was JEZZ and did not have time to look at speedo before braking at end of street. Cannot believe you have your subs in already.

Very nice. You need to get that thing to Bradenton on a cool night and post up your runs. It is less than an hour away from your place. Some mid 11's for sure.
Have any of the 3.6 or 3.4 guys run any times in the SC cars yet?

can't wait till it gets cooler out. i only run 5psi in the heat. winter months in FL i usually average 5.5 to 6psi. i'm still considering a smaller pulley or a custom tune at this point, since I'm running an afr in the 10's under full boost. way too rich. i'd prefer to turn up the boost to lean it out some

that's surprising even though you have a 3.4 liter. my car is making about the same hp and torque as the M6. i would have thought with all your mods you'd be in the same territory. beaten, maybe... smoked? something doesn't seem right. you should get it to the dyno and make sure you don't have a boost leak or something. i can stay in the vicinity of my buddy's protomotive TT and that has a hell of lot more hp and torque than a M6.

i'm too much of sissy. especially after glazing my clutch after those runs with you way back when if i remember right, evo ran a 11.7ish with their SC which has a similar setup to mine.

Yeah, since we were out of the country I had no jurisdiction
