Question i want a more throttlier sound, what should I get?

I drove a 2006 cayman s tip the other day and I find the sound more throatier than my 996 C2. What should I get to get that kind of aggressive sound?

fvd end mufflers and 200 cell sport cats or headers- any combination of these do the trick

I had Fabspeed and switched them out for Cargraphic for a more aggresive sound. If the Cargraphic is not enought then add 200 cell Cat's. That should be enough but if not add headers.

Tubi or not Tubi that is the question. I put a Tubi exhaust system on mine and I couldnt imagine anything sounding better. I drive the car just to hear it roar. Bought and installed by the local porsche dealer. Greatest investment I have ever made.

Well Jonathan, I guess that depends on your budget also. If price is a concern, get fabspeed muffler, if not, TUBI or Gemballa should be your first choice. I also like M&K, which is still prototyping and is not available yet, maybe you want to search here, the guy had a video clip with sound which I really like.

throatier sound

I added the K&N cai & plenum. She roars at 4-6K. PSE helps too.

Do you mean pse mod? I am thinking to do it because the budget concern. I have a 3.6 so i guess i can give it a try. But taiwan charges 300us for welding the pse. Kinda lame IMO. P car parts here is rare and pricey. therefore it cannot afforad to mess up the welding.

K&N intake, even with stock exhaust sounds sweet at 4k & beyond.
