PSS9 Settings?

It looks like I am going to bite the bullet and get the PSS9 suspension installed on my car. My car is a '99 C2 Cabriolet.

What should the ride height be set to? I figure measuring from the top of the wheel well lip to the ground is probably the most expedient way of comparing that particular setting, unless someone can offer a better method. Do any of you have any issues with speed bumps, etc at your ride height? (I sometimes watch lowered Civics with amusement as they have to drive diagonally over speed bumps that most other vehicles can drive over in a straighforward manner - maybe I should not have enjoyed that as much as I have.)

What PSS9 shock settings should I use? I have heard 5/4 (front/rear) mentioned often in a number of threads as a "sweet spot" for those settings. Newport996, I figure you have plenty of miles on your car as a daily driver and also having to deal with CA freeway expansion joints as a good indicator of useful long-term settings. The probability that I will track this car is extremely low.

Thanks in advance for any advice you can give me.

P.S. The PSS9 upgrade is part of a number of things that I am having done to my car in the next couple of weeks, some not so voluntarily . I may start a thread on all of that if I feel the need to vent a little once all this is completed.

set up is a personal thing and I am sure everyone does it a little different. Myself, I generally run 5 on the rear & 6 on the frt rebound/compression (1 is the firmest-9 the softest) and depending on what I set ride height to on the rear and what camber I am looking to run (either street ot track- since 2 1/2 degrees neg on the street doesnt do the tread anygood) set the front with a 5-7mm rake. Just what I do.

I think that 6 hours for the strut r&r plus and alignment (at 2 or so hours /2 or 4 wheel drive depending on the time) is the norm.

8 hours is pretty standard, guess what matters is what the shops labor rate is- big difference between 85 and 120 an hour @ 8 hours(which most shops range from down here)
