Questions regarding 993TT vs. 996

I am thinking about getting a 993TT. I am curious if anyone has had experience with them. Also if anyone knows what the price range is for them in the current market (looking for a black one).

My main questions are, how is the driving compared to the 996? Will the 993TT make for a good daily driving car?
I am thinking of 3 options.
1. Sell the 996 Carrera 2, and get the 993TT. (My 996 is a daily driver.)
2. Keep the 996, and drop the 993TT idea.
3. Keep the 996 as a daily driver, and find a 993TT for a really good deal. (This one might be pushing it, but it might work, depending on the market value for the 993TTs).

Thanks,
Kunal

The 993 TT is an awesome car. I have a GT2 now, but I still hold the 993TT close in terms of the fun factor. The interior is dated, but the build quality is better and i like the smaller size.

IMHO, the 993TT is the ultimate (get the S if you can). The 993 TT have held their value better than the 996 TT. In this months Porsche Marketing Letter (http://www.pmletter.com/), there are 993TTs in the 80K range with low mileage.

If you trust Ebay and Autotrader you can find a nice 993tt with 30 to 50k miles or less for mid 60's.

I would love to get a Turbo S if I could find one. I haven't seen any for sale. I have seen some 97 Turbos with 50k miles for about $65k. So I wonder what the price range for a Turbo S would be. If anyone has seen a Turbo S for sale please let me know.

Thanks,
Kunal
