Daily Driver / Winter Beater

Well we got quite a few inches of snow here. I put my 996 away and thought what does everyone else drive when they don't drive the 996. Assuming you have another car... what is it

Mine: 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee.... well I should say WAS my winter beater. Ended up on fire on the side of the freeway yesterday... small fire but close to 4k in damages

I purchased a Mercedes C-class Kompressor w/6-speed (keep my shifting skills up while not driving the C4S). BUT, after having it for a few months, am really really missing driving the Porsche. Used to use it for my Daily Driver. I have a new 997TT on order for February build and will sell both in when it arrives. Will go back to using my Porsche for a Daily Driver. Why spend all that money on such a great car and leave it in the garage! At least I tried!

I had an '06 Laredo now I'm running around in a Chevy. The pcar will come out during the winter if it's dry outside.

Normally the Denali, but now that my wife flys out for work every week...I've been sporting the E500 around.

Gotta love California weather. My daily driver is my 996. My other car is a Ferrari 348 which will be out and about today after looking at the weather outside.

I just shoveled 10 inches of snow in -2 degree weather, I bet my time was much more fun then driving the 348 or the p-car around town.

2003 Nissan Pathfinder. 77K miles, and still going strong. I had an '01 Pathfinder, and no problems with that one either. Might need some new tires for this winter though. Up here in Michigan, we have already had 3 days of commuting in the snow....here comes the fun.

Honda Ridgeline (loaded RTL) was the replacement for a well worn Dodge Ram Quad-Cab.
I love it. Significantly better mileage, still tows up to 5000 lbs, payload of 1500 lbs, and with electronic 4 Wheel Lock – there’s nothing it can’t handle the big Ram used to. Best part is the storage under the bed. It’s huge, water tight and locks with the rest of the truck. The dual opening tailgate is a dream.

carjoe0220, you have a Carrera 4? I would drive that rain or shine (or snow!).
Not that it isn't a nice car, just that I would think it would be very capable to handle a few inches, no?
