scott, this may sound crazy. but ive had several really nice garage floors including speckeled colored epoxy now.
my brother has a nice tight indoor outdoor carpet, wall to wall for his MB SL55 and i like his floor the most. vacuum it when dirty. warm to walk on. looks nice, and its cheap. and easy to replace when needed.

Scott,
Great garage setup and beautiful Mastiffs. I have a pair of Mastiffs (English) male = 200+ lbs. female = 160 lbs. Some of the best companions anyone could have as well as guards for your toys.

About flooring, if you wanna go with checkered floor, consider Armstrong industrial tiles. They are 1'x1' and cost 59c form home Depot and the like.
Got it from http://www.slk32.com/pages/garage/Garage2/garage2.html
could be helpful ... (btw, I think this is a 6speed member's page)

Yours look like big beauties too! Ours are only 50/38 lbs right now -- they have some growing to do!

...and as I said earlier, if you'll look closely at his flooring, you'll see that the white tiles are stained. This staining happens in just a few hours. I, as well, bought Armstrong tiles from Home Depot. It looks like I'm just going to change the pattern so that the tires end up on black tiles, but then it won't be symmetrical.

Wow, now this really looks like a garage! At first glance, I thought the trusses didn't leave much room for an attic ... but after a closer look, I have to say it will look real good. I'm already impressed ... and can't wait to see it finished!!!

Is it weird that I'm getting a lot of vicarious enjoyment from a garage being built? (geez I miss my 4 car garage). Scott, I'm using Gladiator stuff, and I really like it. I put the two roll around tool boxes under their work bench for a little more room. Their quality seems better than Craftsman to me.
