First of all, to stay on topic, I was trying to help out the original thread starter by posting pics of 996 cars I found with 19" wheels. I'm not quite sure what value your "Ruf doesn't make it's own wheels" comment added to his request.
So to have to read your arrogantly opinionated responses seems out of the blue for me.

Second, considering the fact that Porsche never released a 19" rim size for the 996, and Ruf keeping their more track oriented cars, like the RGT and RGTRS on 18"s, I think I'm justified in saying that the manufacturers felt it best to keep an 18-inch size for the 996s.

In no way am I saying that people who own 996s shouldn't run 19s, or that it's somehow "inferior" or that they "look too big" or anything like that. I think 19s look great on 996s, especially with aftermarket suspension. My earlier comment on 18 and 19 inch rims were primarily to inform the original thread starter that a larger majority of 996 cars, whether they be Ruf or Porsche, were tuned with 18s, rather than 19s (with the exception of some RTurbos), so it might be a little more difficult to find images.

I don't understand why you have to be so defensive about 19s. I'm not attacking them in any way whatsoever. Like I said earlier, I think both sizes look great on P-cars.

But dude, it's christmas. My only intention is to contribute to the forum. I'd rather not pick a fight if I can help it, and if I was misleading in my posts, I apologize.

To 996Cabova. As much as I like Carrera Classics, you're probably running some sort of spacer setup to keep it looking flush with a 996 NB offset, right? Getting Ruf 19s built for your car might eliminate the need for spacers altogether, which is nice. Plus, the finish of the Ruf 19s are pretty special in person, almost looking ball polished. I'd be a nice change from the Classics if you get bored of seeing them on all those 997 and 987s.

ruf fits 19" wheels on their 996 chassis cars. you said they don't do this which is utter bs since you posted some of their flagship cars with 19s on yourself. you brought in the whole 18 v 19 deal, not i.

split hairs all u want, and don't call out defense with a weak offense.

Ruf rims

The guy I bought my car from had a set of Ruf rims. He kept them and was going to sell them. If you are looking to buy, let me know.
