This picture was taken on Hwy. 36 in Northern California near Red Bluff. This scenic route travels west over several costal summits and through a giant redwood tree grove ending at Fortuna on the Pacific Ocean. 140 miles of 2nd
3rd and 4th gear with very little traffic. One of my favorite drives.

Welcome and congrats! I have #22. Owned it for almost 3 years. Just passed 20,000 miles today. Drving home from Laguna Beach. I love the car. Its a great all rounder.

Do you have the stock exhaust? I do and am thinking about an upgrade there.

Welcome aboard. I look forward to meeting a fellow 996 owner and neighbor. Once I get mine running, you are welcome to give it a try and see how you like the plenum and PSS9 suspension. Your car looks great!

Welcome. Beautiful car!

I thought the 40th anniversary 911 already had a special suspension with Limited slip? I could be wrong though...

Hello Rodsky
Nice to hear from you. I love my 40th as well. I did a muffler mod, some people call it a muffler hack. It consist of a 6" tube shaped like a J connecting the plug on the muffler to the tail pipe. Similar to pse but without the switch. I love it and it sounds great. It may be my imagination, but it seems to me like I picked up a little more hose power. I think the stock muffler is too constrive for the x-51 motor. Probably one of the best mods you can do for the price. I had in done in the bay area by Darin Fister it cost around $250.00. If your interested I can hook you up with him.

Your right, it comes with what Prosche calls "a firmer suspension". It also sits 10mm lower than the standard 996. Probably great for the track, but it tends to ride a little rough on the street. Cheers.
