Similar to pse but without the switch. I love it and it sounds great. It may be my imagination, but it seems to me like I picked up a little more hose power. I think the stock muffler is too constrive for the x-51 motor. Probably one of the best mods you can do for the price. I had in done in the bay area by Darin Fister it cost around $250.00. If your interested I can hook you up with him.
Thanks! I am in LA but would actually like to speak to Darin. Maybe I'll drive up to the Bay and get it done.

You can find him on rennlist.com. If you do a muffler search on rennlist look for this title "PSE modded 3.6 mufflers-how close in sound to a real PSE? There is a long discussion on this mod and you will find a sound clip there as well. He goes by dfister or the muffler man. You can ship you mufflers to him sometimes he just exchanges them out to save time. The guy does good work and is very friendly. Cheers.

The X-51 motor is awesome. Just added the b&m shifter, clear side markers and muffler hack. Next the power plenum and that is it, I hope. Maybe wheel spacers. The car needs rear tires soon. It has S-O2s thinking about pilot sport rib. Any suggestions?

Congrats on the car! I was just in your neighborhood last weekend playing golf. Congrats on the car!

I drove from Orange County up to Darin in the bay area to have him do my mod, and I felt it was well worth the trip. Take PCH back home, a very nice way home!

Hello kasi,
Nice to hear from another fellow 40th owner. Your wheels look great. For me, I love the polished wheels the 40th comes with. My plenum should be here anyday. I hear it works good on the x-51 motor. Let me know how your mods work out on your car. Good Luck
