I love the Griots orbital and pads, however, the polish 1-2-3 compounds are a PITA to get off! Does anyone use a different product that easily comes off after drying application?

Griot's

cvazquez:

All you have to do is use the SPRAY-ON WAX to remove the 1-2-3 compuonds. This works when removing the BEST OF SHOW waxes too.

That was a tip from Griot's and it works very well. In fact I put the wax on the Hard Top and stored it just like that with the wax applied. When the time comes I use the Spray-On Wax to remove it. Comes off a top in a strip joint! Perhaps even faster...

Prices are good, quality is great. What a deal! I have just started using Griot's in November and have really enjoyed the experience.

Especially BLACK paint jobs, getting the surface scratches out are a cinch and the paint looks like it was poured on the car...no surface scratches at all!

The waxes and all other chemicals are just great too. And you really need the Orbital Buffer to really get the full value os the system.

How are things up in the Cities? I get up there a lot for business..I get everwhere a lot for business in fact. Sales

Thanks, 99C2 for the tips. Things up here are almost up to freezing. Funny what makes us happy . . . I just received my extension water wand (item 50199) from Griots, so my C4S gets an underbody wash tomorrow in the driveway.

Griot's

JonC4S:

I plan to never need the "Wand" since I keep the C2 garaged through the winter months. I did take it out a few weeks ago, the road salt look bad on black - never doing that again!

Awsome, you already use the Griot's. Good products, good people too!

Yeah, 40's in Chicago this weekend!!
