Since I own it, it's never see a drop of rain. Not because I don't trust it or worry about crazy drivers. It's a garage queen.

My C4 is always outdoors; garaged only for tropical storm conditions. If you have wipers, PSM, and good tires then no prob! I do have to wash and wax the car more often than some of you, but I don't mind that so much.

that's funny. i bought my boxsterS from a guy who had it for two years and had never driven it in the rain. the car was immaculately detailed. i hadn't gone 10 miles before it started storming. plus there was road construction with lots of mud and sand.

by the time i got home, my beautiful car was filthy. i felt so bad, took it to a pro detailer the next day.

Hey, I am from the Bay Area, and i KNOW what rain is....I remember winter rains lasting MONTHS....Yeah you get it much more up there....but you ever been in the rain in SoCal? How they designed the drainage is beyond me....A little rain feels much worse because the water doesnt drain...I remember a few years ago cars were flooded on the freeway because it wouldnt drain...one section was 6 feet deep. I recall seeing a Boxster in there on the news. So just a little rain here is like a huge storm up north....

No rain for me. It's funny that I used to be that guy that would drive my cars in any weather...wash them 2-3 times a week after driving in bad weather...now I'm "that guy" that won't drive my nice car in the rain...I even bought a second "beater" and when it's crappy out I make the wife leave the M3 in the garage too.
