I second the Z1, it's what I have.... The screen is huge and it does have a 30 gig hard-drive... Something I do believe the Kenwood is lacking.... There is a reason why the unit runs $2,000

7100 does have a drive, all the Garmin maps are built-in (and can be updated via flash drive), plays movies from a video ipod, dvd, hd radio, etc.

The Z1 is nice but I liked the Garmin interface better and have no desire to transfer mp3's to it when I can connect the vpod and play rented movies, music videos, and of course my itunes.

Oh yeah,

The Z1 has all the Blue Tooth, Ipod, Back Up Camera and if I'm not mistaken auto map updates.
