Newbie here... great site!
Been checkin' it out for a while. Posting for a little while without doing the formal intro.... I've seen a few guys in the hot seat for that, so.... I'll try to post a few photos ASAP.

Forgot... Took the bumper off my car ('04 996) & currently fitting a RUF style rear bumper. ;o( I'll have to wait to take photos. I've had it for a year & 1/2 and never took a photo of it. Duh.
I have a special project 996 that I'm building though... I guess I could take a photo of that... a work in progress. All primed and lookin' ugly. Right now it's sitting up on jackstands. It's gunna be SUPER gaudy. I'm sure I'll catch a bunch of flack for it. I'll snap a few photos tomorrow if I can find a few minutes. ;o)

Another shot...
As I mentioned... kind wanting to go overboard on this car. Id be interested in hearing some ideas, but have a picture in my head of what I think it's gunna look like. For the interior I'm probably going with (I know this is different) med. tan leather, with magnolia (parchment) alcantra through out. Lots of painted parts (exterior color) on the interior too. For the color, right now I'm really loving the Lamborghini Ithica Verde. In person that color is a knockout. Love it. Just dont know how it's gunna look on a Porsche. ;o) There's only one way to find out, huh?

Shot of the rear....
Hidden under that bumper is a nice looking lower techart style spoiler. Also the factory steel 997 widebody quarters were widened 1.5 inches on each side. 3 inches total wider than a turbo 997.

Rear photo a bit lower.
In a few days the side ducts should be going in. They've been modified to be a cross between a 996 & 997. I liked the idea of the 997 duct ('cause it's new) but not crazy about its shape (I think it's too large & missing some style) I love the shape of the 996 turbo duct, so I took a little bit from both... The finnished product does look like a 997 duct, but if you compared to a photo of a factory 997
duct, I like how this modified duct looks.
duct, I like how this modified duct looks.

08 911 C4S: Hehe... I know what you mean. I was thinking it's a bit embarrassing to show a car (which I think will look stunning when completed) in a nasty looking shop. I was going to blur out the background, but thought "Hey, a little dirt never hurt anybody, right"?
