Time to replace headlight bulb?
Hi guys,
I have an 01 c2 that's had no issues up until a few nights ago when I turned on the lights and there was a few moments of flickering before the main project headlights come on.
Anyone else also experience this? Any tips/how to on the best way to address the problem? Or is it simply time to switch the bulbs
Thanks!

Maybe the bulb is near its life. Did both headlight flickering? If so, check the light switch. Turn it in both direction, stop on every level. Also, check your fuse for dirt or loose.
If only one is flickering during your start up then I suggest you remove the headlight and look for minor black stain on the glass cover.

So both lights were flickering, that narrow down to light switch or ignition switch. I had this problem a little more than a year ago. Brought to a local indie, he immediately told me that my ignition switch was worn out made the headlights flickered. I still don't know why a bad ignition switch would affected the headlights.

Thanks Day, hopefully I'll have time to bring the ride into Arling's sometime next week. Or hopefully have my buddy take a look at it.
Slow, if my bulbs are the issue, I'll def PM you about your oems. You're right down the street in Malibu so it will definitely be convenient.
Thx!

do you have any idea how much a new switch/service is going to run? Thanks!

You can buy the switch on EBAY. Don't buy it from stealership. Have a local indie install for you at less cost. You can even do it too. Not something that is hard to do. After I saw what my indie did I could kick myself for not trying.

I honestly wanted to give it a go myself, but i just wanted to confirm that was the issue.
Correct me if i'm wrong, but I think you're in the LA area as well? Any indie's you could refer me to? If not I was just gonna truck over to arlings.
