Hey gang

I just ordered my brand new set of litronic headlights for my 2000 996 off of ebay for 1800 bucks!! I was just curious if any of you guys had a good estimate of what I should sell my original headlights for??? They are the clear ones with out the orange bottem piece....any suggestions are appreciated!!

 

$4-500 with the amber removed.

 

ebay + no reserve...

 

Edit: Wrong thread.. You can't sell old ambers for anything usually. Many times, shipping costs more that the sale. Save them for when you sell the car and sell the litronics apart.

yeah...how do you guys like your litronics...i hear its a whole world of difference from the halogens and they are like "laser beams"

 

I love the litronics. It was in the top 5 of what I required when looking for my car.

I will be playing with the high beams though. Since they use a standard H7 halogen to accompany the lits. Pretty much a std h7 only lets the other lane know that you went from highs to lows when they approach. I feel it adds no real light right now

 

I have the standard halogens and am pretty impressed with just those. Best standard headlights I've had in any car. Pretty much comparable in terms of light output to my Acura RL. The litronics do give the car a more upscale look I suppose though, just pricey.

 

I just paid 300 for both clear regular lights - to replace amber.

Curious what the best bulb for these are? SilverStar ???

 

the boxster guys are always looking to get rid of their amber lights... try selling them there

I know bosxtergirlie is looking for one, a few months back.

I assume H7SU high and low beams?
did you get the H3ST fog lights?

 

all i did was just the low beams...but yes i did the H7ST ones

 

Great upgrade....the best.
