Sounds very interesting
Who makes TA? what does it stand for? Would you consider it a loud exhaust?
Last but not least, how much is it.

Thanks

It's loud in the perfect sense, tunnels are like music to my ears and no need to always go WOT to get noticed.

Should have been able to figure it out (TA)! I have read good things about them. Sounds like a great system, look forward to that sound clip when you get to it.
They sure look like stock PSE cans

Thanks for the info Exlondoner

I'm having the Manthey mufflers fitted in a couple of weeks, they're being lovingly crafted in Germany as we speak. Apparently it's like no other sound, pure Porsche racing sex, can't wait...

I also have a TA "Sport" exhaust model and it sounds great too, but probably not as loud as the race version from Explondoner. If you check TA website you can see that their exhaust cans looks very much like the PSE with the controlled valves. When I replaced my OEM cans, these TA seems heavier too but the sound is good, not too loud.

How much do you want for the B&B mufflers? Will this bolt on to a 99C4?

Thanks

Did you ever get my e-mail about the B&B muffler?

The K&N intake is a SUPER mod for the price. I still love mine. I dyno'd 10rwhp extra avg with it on (3 runs with stock intake then 3 runs with KN intake).
I was completely surprised and was not expecting any gain just bought it for sound.

I hear some folks get half that or no gain. I suppose it is subjective and depends on your particular car.
For example, another C2 owner at the dyno was pulling 12 MORE wrhp than my car and we both had completely stock cars and same model year.
It is always possible though that his car was chipped without him knowing since he was the second owner, and his was a stick / mine is a tiptronic so some extra loss of HP through the tip is expected.

B&B Exhaust

I have a 99 996 with a stock exhaust and was looking for sound and HP. The B&B looks like a decent option vs a PSE. Does someone still have a used one for sale? If so how much?

Scottfromtx, I have the B&B exhaust in good condition as I didn't use it for that long. Automotion.com has the exhaust for $1,182.95 plus tax in CA. I'll take $800.00. I also live in Orange County so you can take a look at it first! E-mail me directly at sell2u@yahoo.com.
