vibration noise driving me nuts / very odd problem - thoughts?

ok - but has to wait until next week i am in Colorado skiing this week..
Seems to me it would be in muffler or cats on mine - it is like something is loose and rattling at high rpm - only does it on 1-2 or 2-3rd gear shifts

^ Yeah now that you mention it I have had it occur a couple of times on 2-3 but very brief.
If it does turn out to be cats at least they could potentially be covered by Porsche (IIRC 8yr/80k mi warranty). But how do you check / verify if a cat is bad?
Have fun skiing, snow must be great over there. I'm off to Mammoth this weekend for some boarding and "do some bonding" with the CTT -
