+1 on the intake and mufflers. They work great. Very nice sound with the intake / muffler combo especially at WOT.
The only thing I noted about the mufflers is they made my tips stick out from the bumper by an additional 1.5" (vs. stock mufflers and the RD's I have on now), and can be noticed in the pic above. Any way the brackets and inlet pipe on the muffler can be reshaped to allow a bit more muffler / tip setback?
Interestingly enough I found out that Duram from Durametric writes the softronic software. He's one talented coder so i'm sure it's very good.

i have the softronic ECU tune on my C4S and have been enjoying it for two months. the car revs faster and power comes on more smoothly -- that nasty torque dip around 5500 RPMs is gone.
and dan @ vivid racing is the man.

Softonic ECU
I have a 1999 Carrera w/ Muffler Bypass Pipes and K&N Cold air intake. Well they have a flash for what mods are done to my car or is there a standard flash that they have. Also if i add mods to my car after i have installed the flash will i need to reflash the car again?

The early 99s are NDBW however the late 99's are DBW. The issue is likely the ECU type as the 99's are Motronic-5 and flash using a different communications protocol than the '00 and later models that are Motronic 7. I see your in Cumming. Our office is in Buford. Feel free to stop by some time.

Dan what gives? Does softronic directly compete with it's distributors / resellers?

The price of $895 does not include the cable. We are including the $125 cable and free shipping. Softronic respects are doings and does not compete with us.

Sorry Dan. That wasn't the motive. It was only intended to be a courtesy invitation as that individual is located close by. In hindsight I do see how it could be misconstrued and my apologies for the imposition.

Duram does not write the Softronic software, He does write the Durametric and the two companies work together.
