Will a 996 w/ muffler bypass pass smog inspection? The car has factory intake, headers, ECU, Cats & everything, just bypass pipes...

There is no effect with muffler bypass, yours should pass with no problem if you don't have any other issues.

Fitzgerald on Placentia in Costa mesa.....they are open Saturday mornings.

Get a scanner and swipe the code before you go in. A CEL is an instant fail

Daytrader, where'd you get that done??? ...I assume that was just for labor? I'm in NY and my dealer wants $400/each.

Thanks,

Vito

Vito,

You're mistaken. I said, the smog check with cert. is $30. Not the oxygen sensor. If they charged you $400 each for oxygen sensor, that's reap off. The market price for each unit is about $230-$260. Labor, you can install them, not difficult job.
