Depending on physical restraints, I will try to come out and meet everyone.

just finished installing my silver 911 rear badge and a silver hood crest. I love the change especially the silver hood crest. The size and fit where perfect and the embossed printing on the back was exactly the same as the OEM one I removed. If anyone else plans this upgrade spend the xtra $5.00 for the new gasket.

Thanks Eric

Go for it. It is a subtle change but very nice. I have seen the 40th anniversary chrome 911 rear badge out there for around $160. If you like the idea of an OEM badge this is a great choice.

Use bug / tar remover to take remaining adhesive residue off-
Use 3M fine cut swirl mark remover to remove the outline-
Buff and polish with good wax-

That's it!

Using a machine will cut the time down.

Depend on the condition of your paint color, outdoor parking most of its life or garage queen. Also dark vs. light color car. Most you can use clay bar and hand buff it out with good polish cleaner (not rubbing compound). Worst case professional machine buff at 1600 to 2400 rpm.
