have supple leathe but want sport seats

My 01 has supple leather in black it has power seats and I am thinking about getting a set of Sport seats .... what are my original seats worth? They have zero flaws, rips, tears or evidence of wear.

my cars tend to be tracked at AutoX's and HPDE's at the very least 20 - 30 times a year so, yes I do drive a car that hard ... why have a sports car if you are going to drive it like a Buick

my first event of the yeat is Saturday with several corvette clubs and the second is Sunday with the Chicago Audi club ....

I don't know about you but, I bought my Porsche to drive it like a Porsche is meant to be driven

true that- I don't do any track events so wouldn't notice the need for added support. Good luck on the project, post up some pics when you're done.

I don't think your seats are worth more then a $1000.00, and if you can find sport seats your looking at $2000.00 bill, thats the only option I had to have...

20-30 track days? Don't you think you should get fixed buckets with harnesses?

I do not like fixed buckets as I find them uncomfortable. I am trying to find a happy medium between my OE supple leather seats the wife loves and something I am happy with at the track ... sports seats seem to be the most logical choice ... and I already have harnesses ...

I finally located a set of sport seats in Savanna for my car. Was lucky enough to get a set with heat!! My old seats are full power/heat/Lumbar supple. I was a little over whelmed with the wire harness issues. I was hoping there was a way to swap tracks so I could keep the power. The seats look different on the bottoms and I do not think this is doable.

So after I recover from operation I will give it a try. The center section of the back of the seats pulls out. I was thing of swapping with the supple ones so it matches the back seats.

I have been reading that the sport seats track has less travel. Is this true? I see a stop on the back and looks like it stops about 2in from the bolt.
