305 30 19 FIT ON A 996 nb?

Getting lots of different answers to this question.
I want to buy 19 inch Carrera classics from a 997 which come with 19 * 11 and a 67 offset. Will the 305 30 19 rub anywhere?

i know the 315 25 19 has no issues. please let me know if you have any experience with this.

Thanks

315s only fit the widebodies with no issues bud.

i'd stick with 295s.

it has more to do with width offsets of the wheels than the tires itself. but again, i'd stick with 295s, but what i'd do is hit up Ray S for advice since he has a narrowbody on 11" width champion wheels with ideal offsets.

I have a 305/25R19 on my NB with no problem. But my wheels are 10.5's. If the tires/wheels are local, ask for a test fit.

That's going to be super tight IMHO. It may work, it may rub a little, either way it will be very close.

The wheels by themselves will give you 15mm less inner clearance (by the strut) and will extend an extra 11mm (by the fender).

Here's the rub (pun intended). Tire widths vary by brand (i.e. one mfgs 305 may be narrower than anothers), so this could even come down to tires.

According to Tire Rack a 295/30-18 PS2 has a section width of 11.9" and a diameter of 25" (I know this will fit as I have them on my car). A 305/30-19 has a section width of 12.3" and a diameter of 26.3". Those are big increases.

What tires is he selling on the rims? Will he measure the diameter and section width for you?

Nice Taynut: what width rims are those? Stock suspension height or lowered? If lowered, springs or coilovers?

235/35/19 on front?

The measuring rim will also impact the section width and the OD (slighlty). Check that when comparing specs.
