http://images.google.com/imgres?imgu...%3Den%26sa%3DN this is what they look like from the back. they are tequipment and if I can recall they are bolt on. they look like they're bent but I hear that's what they come like originally.

ACTUALLY THIS IS WHAT THEY LOOK LIKE

ah, ok. I'm looking for the ones that look like 2 separated tubes. Like on the 997S... but thanks!

Ah, you are wrong on that. In the last few months, I was experimenting with different type of exhausts for my car. I bought two separate transactions on Ebay involved Porsche exhaust tips and they were all Porsche OEM tips. The ones on my car now are 997S/TT tips.

auclutch, I'd take those. It looks like they are showing the bent part for display, but hey appear to bolt on like the OE. I assume all the 996 3.4L & 3.6L have the same size tip pipes? PM me so we can make a deal!

I have a set of raw stainless take-offs from an 08 s with 10 miles. $125 if you want them pm me. You'll probably need a welder to attach them properly. Here are couple sample pictures of how they look on a 996.

Joel, both 3.4 and 3.6 have the same cans, pipe length. The only different is the 3.4 has permanent tip welded to the short curve pipe. The 3.6 has removable tip that hold by a bolt. And both have the similar length & size.

So can we remove just the tip and weld/attach the new 997S tip or it's going to be to far out?
