I am about to buy the same exact wheels- colors and all. The guy I was buying from said they no longer come in that scheme, so he has to paint them. I did find a few pics last night, I will see if they are still up on my home computer later.

This was from VIVID..

Last year, I was going to change my set up for this but decided not. There were a few Ebay shops selling them. Now on one or two....

As I remembered, a set without tires sold for $1200.

There are some sellers on ebay with pics of these wheels on a 996.

Personally I don't like them, saw them at a local SoCal wheel shop. I think they look cheap. Even if they didn't look cheap to me, they still would never look expensive. My 2c.
Better off to hold out for a good set of used quality wheels. Now if you want a nice looking budget wheel in black with a color rim stripe, I think the Axis Penta is pretty hot.

Dan at vividracing carries them in 19" staggered pcar fitment.

I think there was a guy on Renntech selling these a while ago, he had them on a white 997, had the pic with them mounted on the car in his avatar.

Not sure what looks better, pin strip or whole lip painted, I guess the pin strip would be more of a "out of the factory option" look.

Has anyone found a weight on this thing yet?

Carlos @ wheel dynamics is helping me out on fitting this wheel to my car with pzeros I currently have on my 3 piece wheels. The cost is approximately 1500 painted.

I guess it does not make too much sense owning tires that are more expensive than wheels, but I really want black / red stripe and this is the best looking option I have found so far for less than 4-5 thousand dollars.

The Axis is ok but I do not like that the center is matte. Fast Forward... you seam like a pro on painted wheels/tires/ect... steer us in the right direction, with costs!

My friend, if you're working with Carlos of WD then you're in the right hands, this man knows what will work for you. Rest assured that he uses a one of the Porsche heads on this very forum when it comes to paint works. . . . You're in good hands!

You may PM me if you have other questions.....

Yeah, Carlos has been very helpful, which is why I took the time to give him a "shout out" regarding the wheels. It's not the service or price I am worried about, it's the available sizes and offsets.

The service manager at BH Porsche had high praises for Wheel Dynamics, and was on the phone with them discussing a customer's wheel needs while I was at the service desk waiting to pick up my pcar. They seem to be known and have a good rep everywhere around here.
