Yes, "I" know who his new employer is..... Don't ask me how I know but I do... Let's hope that thinks are fine from the point on, I don't like tossing out info unless it's in the pursuit for justice.... "Let's just say it's still in the auto industry"

Hope everything works out and there isn't just a pile of bricks in the boxes shipped....

Still no shipping, only billing info received.

If your shipment status is Billing Information Received, then UPS has received the shipper's billing information electronically. This does not indicate shipment pickup or drop-off.

I just checked the shipping number, still says Billing Information Received. I'd have another talk with the owner of JIC when you have a chance to see if he could remedy your situation at all.

Sounds to me like he's dragging it out....had an incident like this where it was dragged out forever...sent shipping number but never did get the product. It ended up going beyond the timeframe to file a complaint with eBay...so I got screwed....but it was only $150 not $4K. I'd be all over him until they actually were deposited on my front door. Sorry, but it still sounds like scam to me....there's absolutely no good reason to drag it out unless he's scrambling around trying to find a cheap set of JIC's from someone to send to you. Save yourself some grief....contact VISA or your credit card company and cancel the deal...I think you have 90 days. Don't be cajoled into thinking it will be resolved....his credibility sucks.

Magnus,

+1

File the complaint to get your money back from Paypal. Jon from JIC did state to me that he will try to work something out with you. I'm planning to install my JICs before the next AX.

Clarification.

The price was in the lower 2k range not 4 large as I stated in a earlier post.

FWIW, I am a Admin on another unrelated forum and we established a trader rating where buyers and sellers provide feedback which is shown as a hyperlinked number adjacent to your username. This allows users to build a reputation within the community and it allows buyers and sellers to see who they are dealing with. I personally have 76 positive feedbacks with commentary. Others on our forum are into the hundreds. Those who receive negative feedback are scrutinized and often are required to show a measure of good faith in oder to rebuild their reputation.

Have you filed with PayPal yet? If you used a CC I think at this point you are in the right to request a refund giving the situation. I don't think they will defend the seller without tracking proof....

It's one thing to have a disagreement over an item, price, etc. etc. but just not getting the item in your hands is just an open and shut case.

I seriously think you should be getting his contact details from JIC, calling the police and suspending your payment. This guy has had way too much time already. No more excuses. This sounds like a scam. Pure and simple...

From my experience, paypal claim wont help you. You should file with the Credit card company asap!
