Hey Guys,
Just got a call from a friend driving around S. FL and swears he saw a C2 Cab with a front mount intercooler.... I can't think of any forced induction kits that include a front mount...only rears, does anyone know this car and what it has?? I was thinking maybe an aux. oil cooler, but from the description it sounds too big... He said no exterior mods, stock 18's with areokit wing...
I think its one of those fake intercoolers, but kinda curious why someone would do that on a 996???

Was it the 3rd radiator?

 

I also asked him that, he said no it was silver and had big intercooler like hoseing on it....
This guy knows cars (esp. forced induction) as he has a supercharged BMW 3 series so I trust he saw what he did, but I can't come up with an explination...

Nevermind guys...I sent him a pic of the secondary water cooler and he said thats probably what it was.....
