Has everything I'm looking for (but aero). However, for that price, I can get a 2005 997 non-S. You think they'll take $45K?

Hey mate,

for 6k more you should be able to swing a 997 with higher mileage but even so i would argue that it's worth it.

Yup. Low miles and CPO to boot. But I feel that it's 10k over priced.

I almost pulled the trigger on a 2000 C4 w/ Aero and some other goodies (70k miles) for $29K but the owner backed out last minute

I wouldn't fret, it had 70k miles! Yellows are a bit rare and I ended up flying from So Cal to Az to pick up my yellow 996 C4S. It had all the goodies, low miles (12.5kmiles), great price, and tix out of Ontario were only $100. Be patient and maybe consider "slightly" out of town cars.
