Should I take the plunge or keep looking? I feel like the prices will come down further, but this is a nice example of a 4S.
it's inevitable that prices will go down lower with cars, bud. can you wait it out? do you want it now? this is a luxury/toy purchase. life is short, life is long w/o a 911

Wait how long to save how much?

Not worth the wait unless one can't afford the luxury.
Set your sights on the realistic toy for your lifestyle/income. Once there, jump on it and don't look back
Always more, bigger, better, newer to be had.

Buy and enjoy.

If you plan on keeping it for a long time the price drop means little to nothing.
If you sell and upgrade to a newer/better p-car IT will have lost value as well...

For those ballers that buy new, all this chump change bs does not apply

totally. so you save $3-5 grand. Whoop dee doo. Yes, i'm not going to sound like a mega rich dude or any sort or ignorant dude where you puff out your chest and imply $3-5K is chump change because it' snot....

in the big scheme of things you are buying an impractical, small **** sports car (little to no utility, though some internet nerds will split hairs and argue).

the cost is you waiting a month or two and if you live in an area like me... summer's gone by then. a quarter of the year may be gone by then. your life is gone without what you want which is an expensive adult male toy - the 911.

if you run into an example you feel good about buying, then get it now. enjoy the crap out of it and don't look back.

i was rolling in my 911 the other day and this lime lambo LP640 rolls up. bigger, badder everywhere as LS put it. don't get caught up in the USA rat race either (another topic).

Back to the Boxsters under $10k debate, apparently these are appreciating at a surprising rate. Here is 2000 Franken-Boxster with 66,000+ miles...lol

I sold a excellent condition 2002 Carrera 911 for $28,000. The prices are fairly low now and I doubt they will drop MUCH more anytime soon.

It's all relative. Find the a match for your car and presto! Price becomes secondary
