Just noticed something. How come some of the bumpers have the area between the brake duct openings filled and some dont, It is the opening directly in the middle of the bumper below the license plate holes.

If you have a 3rd radiator, the center section will be open.

Was this a factory option or is this an aftermarket mod? I did'nt know there are two versions of the MK1 aero bumper.

It was a factory option for automatics, turbos and GT3's. You can order it as a mod to any Carrera model I believe, that didn't come with it via the factory. I'd check out Suncoast Porsche for the kit.
