What car and cans do you have? The PSE mod isn't that great for 3.4 cans (MY99-00).

Why don't you buy mine, plug & play. 997S cans modified with double by-pass for 996 or 997. Sound much better than MKII hacked. Exhaust cans have 14K miles, no rust or dent. $290 shipped. Check out my video link of exhaust sound: http://videos.pcars.us/video/0941f27...9801438f37.htm .

I think RUF can do it. They installed my Agency Power exhaust, but I wavered for a bit on doing the hack.

My dad just had a set of Pfaff Tunning PSE mufflers installed and they sound great! Not sure how they do it, but on top of the bypass they cut the mufflers open and change something inside, maybe remove some of the baffeling. nice agressive sound, no drone and has a wicked crackel upon cold start. 1300 installed. This is the local Porsche dealerships tunning division, they are located in Toronto.

It will be able to compare it to the real PSE when my car arrives next week.

I am considering the Agency Mufflers. Are you happy with the sound? Is it more throaty? How much did they charge? I went to a couple of places like Ken Muffler located on NW Highway. They have been around since cars were created and all he could do is scratch his head and say "this might take awhile"

The Agency Power mufflers have really improved now that I have a few miles on them. I was really worried when RUF first installed them. They were so subtle. Now, they've gotten throatier and my fuel economy has dropped (funny how that happens ). You're welcome to listen to them before you decide.

Thanks for the offer. Do you remember what Ruf charged for the install.

Thanks again!

I have honestly forgotten so please consult with them. Perhaps around $500, but again, I'm foggy on the cost.

Muffler removal/install is an easy diy - why pay anyone to do that?
