Pricing for 996 PSE?

Hello everyone,

I am new to the forum, but wanted to get some feedback from the 996 owners.

I have been reading up on the Porsche Sport Exhaust and I did some searching on eBay for pricing. I have only found one vendor and I think the price was ~$1995 (without the switch) + shipping.

Is this the average price the 996 PSE goes for?

Thanks

Yes, that is the market price for PSE. You can pick up a set from Suncoast for $1900. Otherwise, you can pick up a used one for about $900. There were a couple for sale last month on 6speed. Do a search to see if they are still available.

thats a a little bit high... call suncoast. The price went up due to the falling dollar. I believe the the 997 pse is cheaper and possibly fit... maybe someone will chime in with this. There are some that installed 997 cans with the pse hack... since the 997 is the same size as the stock ones... Im assuming that it will fit.

Thanks for the info guys.

It seems like the PSE is very popular (probably because it is OEM), but so does the Fabspeed unit.

Do you think the PSE is one of the most widely used exhausts for the 996?

I paid $1499 from an online porsche dealer. I forgot the name. This was around 2004.
