1.8mm larger throttle body?

FVD offers a larger throttle body for non non-e gas 3.4L 996.

What would an increase in diameter from 74.6mm to 76.4mm really be worth? Is this for real or just a gimmick to appeal to my (our?) constant pursuit of projects? I've already done cold air intake and the plenum. This just seems crazy to me. But it's a pretty cheap project at ~$275 and would be a good reason to take the whole thing apart again

That's what I'm trying to figure out. I guess I may have made the intake different--maybe not bigger--with the plenum and cold-air intake kit--seems like a gank to me

So, no then..

Hey guys, I actually had the same question. So, don't waste my time? I am going to dump my K&N intake (if anyone is interested), trade in for stock airbox with Fabspeed CAI, cats (to compliment my fabspeed headers and mufflers (awesome!!), and ECU tuning.

Thanks for input!
