Dude get yourself the Porsche OEM spacers I showed you pics of my car with them I have the 5mm all aorund and they are fine, dont waste your time with aftermarket products, contact Gert and spend the $300 or so for all 4 with the bolts and all, as well if you have the 8" front wheel not the 7 1/2" goto the 285 on the rear the next time you need tires , I did it on MY00 coupe and it was better....MY

i did the same; i purchased 8"fronts, 10" rears, porsche oem 5spokes (2002my >), and used 4-5mm spacers.
wheel enhancement (www.wheelenhancement.com) did the work, they truly know their stuff, especially when it comes to wheels. they probably are the authority, they are located here in Los Angeles.

i believe the gent lives here in southern california, no reason for Gert on something like this, especially when it comes to wheels.
trust me, the folks at wheel enhancement know their stuff, they are distributors across all of North America. why pay the shipping from Europe? that's probably what i'm trying to say ).

wheel spacer is not rocket science. therefore as long as the quality is good they're all pretty much the same. the advantage of OEM spacer is it comes with the new wheel lock. the advantage of aftermarket spacers such as H&R, Eibach, Boothe Design (they are all good) is they offer alternative sizes such as 4mm, 6mm, 10mm, 12mm & 15mm while OEM only offer 5mm & 17mm (rear only). so it's really depends on what u need for the car. in ur case, i suggest OEM 5mm.

H&R and Eibach, are great. Ralph Boothe wheel spacers will not work on late model 911 like the 996. Boothe's bore diameter is too large in the hub of the spacer by about 2mm, like the Troutman, even though the bolt pattern is the same. just call Arling for some Eibach's, they are fairly priced and great quality.
