3rd radiator

I am doing a turboface face lift on my 1999 C4, should I put in the GT3 radiator kit while the bumper is off?

Center radiator for 996

If you intend to do any track time, the standard 996 tends to overheat. I have two friends who had to add the center radiator for DE events, it's up to you.

I installed one on my '99 and it made a pretty big difference. If you're going to drive it in the desert or track it on hot days, do it.

If you do it yourself, don't overtighten the hoseclamps. If you do, one side of the clamp may snap but still hold on there. It's tough to notice that you've broken it because its still holding on there; so be careful. Don't ask me how I know.

It makes a big difference at the track in hot climates. I bought my third radiator kit from FA for less than $500, give them a call. This is not a DIY for the faint of heart IMO, take your time and plan it over a weekend. Loren has an excellent DIY on this upgrade on Renntech.

Brandywine on eBay wants $540 plus shipping. You can order it delivered to your door from Carnewal for $475

How much does it drop your temps? My car has never overheated and several of the track days have been over 100 F.
